  IP64 could act as an embedded Mobile Phone Server which bridges the mobile phone supporting WiFi and internet call functions with the traditional PBX system. It is a brand new solution perfectly fits the needs of multi-site operations in SMEs.

When integrated with IP64, the mobile phone works as a normal extension of the PBX system. Thus, receiving and making calls from the mobile phone could be transferred to and from the office landline to enable real-time telephone response and reduce the chance of missed calls. Even when the staff is visiting other overseas branch office, he/she could still be reached by calling an extension of the PBX system instead of calling his/her mobile phone, thus saving thousands of dollars of roaming and airtime charges*.

As a voice-recording device is incorporated in the system, IP64 saves equipment cost and extra installation. Recorded conversations are saved in standard "wav" format which can be archived, replayed and emailed conveniently.

Instead of sending traditional busy signals or extending wait times, the auto attendant, IVR and automatic call distribution features work in conjunction to efficiently manage all unanswered calls. Furthermore, the call log report indicates all the statistics regarding a call from ringing time, caller IDs to call duration. This provides valuable insights into business performance.

 

The IP64 LAN phone easily installs into any offices and can save long distance charges with a simple broadband connection. Home working staff or employees on business trips can make calls just like in the office while enjoying cost saving benefits by simply installing a softphone in a notebook computer.
